Springtime Reminders Issued

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – Here are some important spring reminders from the City of Cape May and the Cape May Environmental Commission:
1) Be sure to have your sprinkler system checked to ensure you are watering grass and gardens rather than sidewalks and driveways – this will save water and save you money.
2) Be sure to have your rain sensor checked so you are not watering during or right after a rain – this, too, will save water and save you money.
3) Be sure to water – with a hose sprinkler or a sprinkler system – in the morning or evening when watering is most effective, and you can use less water, losing less to evaporation.
