Board Cites Career, Technical Education

Cape May County Technical School District post-secondary students John Vogt

CREST HAVEN – To mark February as Career and Technical Education Month in Cape May County, freeholders presented a resolution to three Technical School students at the Jan. 26 meeting. The resolution was introduced by Freeholder Will Morey, liaison to the district.
Felicada Williams, Rosa Martinez and John Vogt, post-secondary students, were joined by Superintendent Dr. Nancy Hudanich and Laura Elston, supervisor of continuing and post-secondary education accepting the document on behalf of the district.
Hudanich told the board “As part of Career and Technical Education we must participate in career organizations.” Each of the students present had taken part Skills USA or Knowledge Bowl, she said. Williams won honors for post-secondary in hair, Martinez and Vogt in the Knowledge Bowl.
