Wildwood Crest Police Charge 2 in Connection with Stolen Vehicles

WILDWOOD CREST – Officers from the Wildwood Crest Police Department were dispatched to the 100 East block of Wisteria Road March 26, for a report of two stolen motor vehicles.
According to a release, during the course of the investigation, detectives identified two suspects, Jaheim McCutcheon and Shane Heath, both 18 years old.
On March 27, detectives were notified that one of the stolen motor vehicles was located in Atlantic City by the Atlantic City Police Department. That vehicle was recovered and returned to the victim.
On April 1, McCutcheon and Heath were located in Wildwood by a Wildwood police officer.
Both subjects were arrested and taken to Wildwood Crest Police Headquarters for processing. McCutcheon and Heath were both charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, conspiracy, and fraudulent use of a credit card. Pursuant to bail reform, McCutcheon was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center and Heath was released on a summons.
The Wildwood Crest Police Department would like to remind all residents and visitors to ensure that their vehicles and homes are locked and secured and to report any suspicious activity to the police department.
It should be noted that all persons arrested and charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
