Dante Grant, 31, is wanted by the state department of corrections for escape.
Grant escaped from the Hope Hall halfway house in Camden on March 27. According to officials, Grant left for work at 11:52 a.m. and never returned.
Grant was originally arrested in Wildwood Crest on April 12, 2006 after a lengthy drug investigation by Wildwood Crest police, the county Narcotics Task Force, and Middle Township SWAT Team. Officers recovered a substantial amount of cocaine, heroin, and marijuana and cash after executing a search of an apartment in the 100 block of West Sweetbriar Road.
Grant was charged with several counts of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. On Sept 7, 2007 Grant was sentenced to eight years in state prison after he plead guilty to a plea agreement of resisting arrest.
Grants last known address is in the Philadelphia area however he may frequent the Wildwoods area of Cape May County.
