Lincoln, NE- Nebraska State Patrol arrested a Villas man after 75lbs. of marijuana was seized from his vehicle following a traffic stop on Interstate 80 near Lincoln, Nebraska, according to a release.
Just before 11:00 a.m., Monday, Feb. 1 a trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol Headquarters Troop-Lincoln stopped a white, Chevy Malibu, for following too closely near the Waverly Interchange (mm409) on Interstate 80 in Lancaster County.
An NSP canine indicated the odor of drugs coming from the rear of the car. A search of the vehicle led to the seizure of 75 lbs. of marijuana. The marijuana was located in two duffle bags in the trunk of the car.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, William McFadden Jr., 53, of Villas, was lodged in the Lancaster County Jail on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
