Update: Bail Doubled for Man Charged with Death by Auto

COURT HOUSE — A Superior Court judge doubled bail for John J. Lawless, of Philadelphia, at a Friday, Oct. 2 bail hearing, after prosecutors revealed his blood alcohol content was nearly three times the legal limit when he allegedly crashed his car into a another vehicle Sept. 12, killing a Lower Township man and critically injuring the man’s wife and daughter.
