WOODBINE – Constance Endre, 61, and Margo Mahoney, 41, both of Woodbine, were sentenced for CDS related offenses.
In May 2012, the New Jersey State Police Woodbine Barracks initiated an investigation regarding individuals fraudulently obtaining and distributing Oxycodone.
The investigation revealed that Endre, Mahoney and their co-defendants were fraudulently obtaining prescription medication from area doctor’s offices by creating false identification documents which were used in conjunction with false MRI reports to obtain prescriptions for Oxycodone. The Oxycodone was subsequently sold for profit.
Endre plead guilty to possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone and conspiracy to make/posses material to create a false drivers license, both crimes of the second degree.
Mahoney plead guilty to possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone and conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute Oxycodone, both crimes of the second degree.
Endre was sentenced by Judge John C. Porto, to thirteen years in New Jersey State Prison, with forty-two months of parole ineligibility and Mahoney was sentenced to seven years in New Jersey State Prison Jan. 24.
Prosecutor Taylor recognizes the efforts of the agencies involved which resulted in the successful conclusion of this investigation.
