Two Charged With Aggravated Assault In Whitesboro Brawl

WHITESBORO– On Feb 18, at about 5 p.m., Ptl Geiger was patrolling the Whitesboro area and was alerted by a citizen to a fight on George Street in Whitesboro. When Ptl Geiger arrived on scene he found Dana Anderson, 37, bleeding from her hand, and Stephano Anderson, 35, bleeding from the face.
Both reported they were in a physical altercation with family members. Dana Anderson stated that her sister in law, Linda Anderson, 35, had bit the tip of her finger off.
When Middle Township Rescue arrived they attempted to find the missing digit, but were unable to locate it. Dana Anderson was transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for treatment, and was later sent to Atlanticare Regional Trauma Center in Atlantic City.
The altercation involved Demetrio Anderson, 37, Linda Anderson, Stephano Anderson, and Dana Anderson. During the brawl Demetrio Anderson is alleged to have struck Dana with a shovel.
Demetrio and Linda were charged with aggravated assault. Counter complaints were signed against Stephano and Dana for simple assault. All complaints were placed on a summons.
