RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Street Crimes Unit arrested Shawn West, 24, of Rio Grande, and Allen Hand, 34, of Del Haven, at a laundromat on the 1300 block Route 47 April 16. Hand was found to be in possession of 15 bags of heroin, and a small quantity of marijuana. West had in his possession pills and marijuana.
Hand was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana. He was released on a summons.
West was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance. He was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center on $20,000 cash bail.
