Teen Pair Face Charges After Fleeing Cops

This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
AVALON – Avalon Police Department has charged two teenagers from Summit with drug charges and other offenses following an incident that occurred Aug. 3 at 11:07 p.m. on the 100 block 30th Street. 
Patrolman William Robinson approached two men who were acting in a suspicious manner, and identified himself. The two subjects fled on foot.
Tucker F. Cannon, 18, ran from the scene and was apprehended several blocks away. Cannon presented false identification to police when he was apprehended. 
Cannon was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to make lawful disposition of CDS (controlled dangerous substance), and resisting arrest. 
Cannon was charged with exhibiting a false drivers license to law enforcement.  
Cannon was processed and released on a summons.  
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
