WILDWOOD – Wildwood Police Department Street Crimes Unit concluded a six-week investigation concerning the sales of narcotics from a private residence on the 200 East block Youngs Avenue in Wildwood Dec. 6.
At approximately 4 p.m., Cape May County Regional Swat Team executed a court authorized search warrant at the aforementioned residence in connection to active narcotics sales/distribution.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, distribution quantities of narcotics, specifically over 1,200 bags of heroin were recovered. The narcotics were prepackaged for street level sales and had an estimated street value of approximately $12,000.
Additionally seized in connection to the search warrant was narcotics paraphernalia and money, which was identified as proceeds of illicit street level sales of narcotics.
As a result of the investigation, Edgardo Rivera-Valentine, 26, Jayson Lopez-Acevedo, 29, and Luis Correa, 22, were arrested in connection to the distribution of narcotics from the property.
Rivera-Valentine and Correa were charged with possession of heroin over a half ounce with intent to distribute, possession of heroin, distribution of heroin in a school zone, and distribution of heroin in a certain public place (George Boyer Museum).
Lopez-Acevedo was also charged with the above crimes and additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of CDS (controlled dangerous substance) paraphernalia.
All three suspects were processed and lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The individual(s) listed is/are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
