Suspicious Vehicle Investigation Leads to Arrest for Marijuana Possession

VILLAS – Patrolman Shawn Lafferty of the Lower Township Police Department investigated a suspicious vehicle which was parked at the end of West Miami Avenue in Villas May 17 at approximately 9:48 p.m.
During the course of the investigation, Patrolman Lafferty discovered Raymond E. Sientki, 39, who resides in the 600 block of East Tampa Avenue in Villas, was in possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), marijuana.
Sientki was arrested on scene and transported to the Lower Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged on a criminal complaint summons with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
After processing, Sientki was released on his own recognizance pending court.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
