WOODBINE — People eating dinner at the Woodbine Custard Ranch got quite a surprise as they ate Sept. 4.
State Police raided a home at about 6 p.m. directly across the street from the Custard Ranch on Washington Avenue with several SWAT team trucks and K-9 officers wearing tactical gear and carrying weapons.
According to an employee of the ranch, three vans drove up on the lawn of the home; troopers then jumped out and stormed the dwelling.
Four people were seen being taken into custody and driven away. Others were seen standing around in hand cuffs.
Troopers could be seen searching a trailer on the property and going through items around the yard of the home.
Calls to the State Police press office were not immediately returned.
