WILDWOOD — Tiffany Fryar, 24, who was wanted in connection with a stabbing, surrendered herself to authorities at the Wildwood Police Department at 11 a.m. Feb. 12.
Fryar, whose last known address was 302 Bayview Road, Rio Grande, was wanted for her role in a stabbing that occurred on Feb. 8 about 5:11 a.m. at 133 W. Youngs Ave., here.
According to a release, the Uniform Patrol Division received a 911 call to report a stabbing at the Wildwood address.
When units arrived, they discovered Edward Musse, 38, of that ad-dress, stabbed, allegedly by Fryar. Musse was flown to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division for treatment.
Through a joint investigation by Wildwood police detectives and the Prosecutor’s Office, Fryar was identified as the perpetrator, but remained at large until Feb. 12
First Assistant Prosecutor J. David Meyer told the Herald that he did not know if Tiffany Fryar was related to Raymond A. Fryar, one of four men who was indicted in the shooting, or the events following, the death of John Cavicchio III. Fryar pled guilty Jan. 31 to hindering the apprehension of Seth G. Cooper, who is charged with first-degree murder.
Meyer did note that this incident wasn’t related to the Seth Cooper case in any way.
Fryar was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
Judge David DeWeese set bail at $25,000 and ordered that Fryar should have no contact with the victim, Musse.
At the time of this re-lease, Musse was still hospitalizes at the Atlantic City Medical Center and Fryar was remanded to the custody of the county Correctional Center.
