Search Warrant Yields Drugs in Burleigh, 2 Charged

BURLEIGH– On Nov 4, the Middle Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit and Major Crime Unit executed a court authorized search warrant on a residence located along Rt. 147 in the Burleigh section of Middle Township with the assistance of the Cape May County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit and the Cape May County Regional S.W.A.T. Team.
As a result twenty four (24) bags of heroin, twelve (12) bags of cocaine and drug paraphernalia were seized.
Mark Davis, 36 years of age, from Burleigh was charged with possession of heroin and cocaine with the intent to distribute along with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Da’Vina Evans, 30 years of age, was charged with possession of heroin.
Mark Davis was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Facility on $25,000.00 full bail and Da’Vina Evans was released on a summons.
