Police Make Aggravated Assault Arrest During Domestic Incident

ERMA — On Tuesday, March 31 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Lower Township police were called to the 900 Block of Honeysuckle Lane, Erma for a reported domestic incident.
The resident there advised officers that her neighbor came to her house asking for help stating, “He’s going to kill me,” referring to the neighbor’s husband.
The female victim was interviewed by officers who observed obvious signs of injury, specifically bruises around her neck. The victim advised officers that her husband had grabbed her around the neck with his hands.
Officers then located the actor, James Pruszinski, in the area. When Patrolman William McPherson advised Pruszinski that he was under arrest for assaulting his wife, Pruszinski became belligerent and combative with the officers and shoved McPherson.
Pruszinski then had to be pepper maced and brought to the ground by several officers.
Pruszinski was transported to Lower Township Police Headquarters and charged with aggravated assault during a domestic violence Incident as well as obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. Pruszinski was later released on $15,000 cash bail.
