Police: Drugs, Cash Found on Teen

This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police Department received a report of a possible intoxicated driver in the area of Charleston and Bayview avenues June 10 at approximately 5:27 p.m. 
When officers arrived on scene, the driver, a 17-year-old male juvenile from Manalapan, N.J., was found to be under the influence. During the search of the vehicle and juvenile, officers seized multiple weapons, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana. 
The juvenile was arrested and charged with DWI, possession of controlled dangerous substance (CDS), distribution of CDS within 1,000 feet of school property, distribution of CDS, possession of CDS paraphernalia, possession of weapons during commission of certain crimes, unlawful possession of weapons, possession of weapon for unlawful purpose, prohibited weapons, as well as multiple other traffic offenses. He was later released to his parents.

On June 13, a search warrant was obtained for a lock box that was also found in the vehicle. The lock box contained a large amount of suspected Xanax and cash. The juvenile was additionally charged with possession of prescription drugs over 100 doses, possession of a Schedule IV narcotic, distribution of a Schedule IV narcotic, distribution of a Schedule IV narcotic within 1,000 feet of school property, money laundering, transporting and possessing.
