Police Charge Two with Heroin Distribution

RIO GRANDE – Middle Township Police Department Street Crimes Unit, along with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns, and Narcotics Task Force, executed a narcotics search warrant in the 3100 block of Shunpike Road in Rio Grande Jan. 12.
As a result, heroin and paraphernalia were seized. The residents, William Green, 52, and Cary Mason, 44, were arrested, and charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, and possession of heroin with intent to distribute within 500 feet of a public park.
Green was held in the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of $90,000 bail, Mason was released on his own recognizance.
