SEA ISLE CITY — Police here are investigating an assault that took place at 2:34 a.m. on July 5 in the area of 39th Street and Landis Avenue.
While walking alone in the 3900 Block of Landis Avenue the victim, Ryan Plantier, tried to intervene in an altercation between the three accused — David Lentz, 22, of Schwenksville, Pa., Edmund M. During this second altercation, Oldt was knocked unconscious after striking his head on the pavement. Oldt was transported by Medivac helicopter to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City as a result of his injuries. He was released later that day.
