LOWER TOWNSHIP POLICE RELEASE:
VILLAS — On Saturday, January 16th, at approximately 7 pm, employees at the American Deli and Pizza Shop, located on Bayshore Road in the Villas Section of Lower Township, observed a 26 year old male, entering cars parked in the deli’s parking lot.
Employees observed the man enter two (2) cars and removed a pair of sunglasses from one (1) car. The man also caused damage to one (1) vehicle by tearing the interior light off of the vehicle.
Employees called the Lower Township Police Department to report the break ins and went outside to confront the suspect.
The suspect was attempting to enter a third vehicle in the parking lot when he was approached by the employees who told him to stay where he was and that the police were on their way.
