CAPE MAY — In the early morning hours of June 30, Cape May police discovered damage to a fence on Windsor Avenue. At 6:44 a.m., property owners began to notify police of damage to their property including damage to various motor vehicles. A check of the area revealed several vehicles with slashed tires on Grant Street. Police discovered that four vehicles had sustained damage to the side view mirrors on Windsor Avenue and four vehicles had slashed tires while parked on Grant Street. Shortly after, two cars were also discovered burglarized in West Cape May. The investigation of an illegally parked car in the area led police to a residence on 6th Avenue in West Cape May. Subsequently, interviews were conducted which led to the arrest of three subjects at the residence. Christopher Zieliuski, 18, Christopher J. Gorham, 19, and Michael S. Tifft, 20, all residents of Lancaster, Pa. Tifft was charged with criminal mischief and burglary. Gorham was charged with criminal mischief and Zielinski was charged with burglary. Arraignment was held on Wednesday, July l in Cape May Municipal Court.
