STONE HARBOR – Sgt. Walker responded to a condominium June 21 at 6:40 p.m. for a report of an assault in progress. Upon arrival, Sgt. Walker discovered the incident was a case of domestic violence where the victim had been choked by the aggressor, alleged to be David M. Rosko, 49, of Allentown, Pa. Rosko had fled the scene prior to officer arrival. The victim was treated for her injuries by Stone Harbor Rescue Squad.
Judge Dorothy Garrabrant was contacted and approved a warrant for aggravated assault, a crime of the third degree, with bail set at $25,000. Rosko was also charged with harassment.
On June 22 at 6:18 a.m., Officer Justin Glass observed Rosko near the condominium where the assault had occurred and subsequently placed Rosko under arrest. While in custody, Rosko was found to also have an active $800 warrant out of Annandale for failure to appear on driving while suspended and operating an unregistered vehicle summonses.
Unable to post bail, Rosko was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center.
This case is pending review by the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
