Ocean City Police Investigating Overnight Burglary at Aquatic and Fitness Center

OCEAN CITY– Police are investigating an overnight burglary of the Ocean City Aquatic and Fitness Center on Simpson Avenue.
The burglary was reported at 5 AM this morning Lt. Steven Ang said. According to Ang a landscape brick was used to smash a window in the pool area.
An unspecified amount of cash was stolen from cash box in the fitness center, Ang said.
Classes at the swim club are canceled for Tuesday night according to a press release.
Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity or have knowledge of the person or persons involved are asked to call Ocean City police at 609-399-9111
