Ocean City Police Charge Man with Burglary

OCEAN CITY — On Nov. 9 just after midnight, Ocean City police Lt. Bruce Twiggs observed a suspicious male on a bicycle in the 700 block of Wesley Avenue.
As the officer approached, the subject he fled the area on foot but was captured after a brief pursuit.
The investigation revealed that the subject had just committed a vehicle burglary in the 700 block of Ocean Avenue. Items from that burglary were found in the possession of the subject.
Arrested was David D. Burrell, 25, of Ocean City. Burrell was charged with burglary, theft and possession of burglary tools. He lodged in jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail set by Judge Richard Russell.
The investigation was conducted by Lt. Bruce Twiggs and Ptl. Bob Koob.
