Lower Police Report Many Arrests, Domestics May 4-10

ERMA — During the week of May 4-10, Lower Township Police responded to and/or initiated 657 calls for service averaging over 93 calls per day.
May 4:
Report of trespassing received at 1:33 a.m. in the 500 block of Village Road, Villas, report of several subjects were going through cars, charges were filed for trespassing and four subjects were arrested, after they were processed they were released with a court date.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 2:17 a.m. in the 100 block of East Florida Avenue, Villas; officer was advised that an unknown female is causing trouble; upon officer arrival the subject was gone. No complaint at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 4:56 a.m. in the 3700 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; upon officer’s arrival it was found to be a verbal argument between two subjects, they worked out there differences, no complaints at this time.
Report of criminal mischief received at 8:36 a.m. in the 500 block of Sunset Boulevard, Cold Spring, the victim reports a broken window who they believe juveniles to be involved and request extra patrol to move any juveniles along, investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 11:49 a.m. in the 800 block of Meadow View Road, Erma, the victim reports damage done to a bedroom window and doorknob, investigation continues.
Report of a warrant arrest at 12:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Vermont Avenue, Villas; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Lower Township; subject was processed and released on bail.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 1:04 p.m. in the 400 block of Second Avenue, Villas; officers were advised that there was a verbal argument between two family members, with officers assistance they worked out there differences, no complaints at this time.
Report of criminal mischief received at 1:08 p.m. in the 1100 block of Franklin Avenue in North Cape May, the victim reports damage done to a fence, investigation continues.
Report of a burglary received at 8:48 p.m. in the 900 block of Ocean Drive, Cold Spring; subjects made forced entry to two boats while up on blocks and stole several items, investigation continues.
May 5:
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 12:42 a.m. in the 200 block of Roseann Avenue in North Cape May; reporting party states there is a vehicle playing loud music, responding officer spoke to the driver and the music was turned down and he was sent on his way, no complaints signed.
Report of criminal mischief received at 3:46 a.m. in the 1100 block of Bayshore Road, Villas, damage done to a front window, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 9:08 a.m. in the 300 block of Whildam Avenue in North Cape May; victim reports a violation of a Final Restraining Order, charges were filed and the actor was arrested, he was processed and transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 1:05 p.m. in the 200 block of Lennox Avenue in North Cape May; reporting party states someone is playing the drums very loud, upon officers arrival they did not hear anything, no complaints signed.
Report of criminal mischief received at 3:36 p.m. in the 300 block of Bayshore Road, Villas, the victim reports someone put graffiti on his wall, the actor agreed to clean the wall, no complaints signed at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 6:26 p.m. in the 200 block of Evergreen Avenue, Villas; officers were advised that there was a verbal argument between two family members, with officers assistance they worked out there differences, no complaints at this time.
Report of theft received at 7:00 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May, victim reports a shoplifter, they will review the security cameras in the morning to try and identify the actor, investigation continues.
Report of harassment received at 8:09 p.m. in the 700 block of East Tampa Avenue, Villas, the reporting party is being verbally harassed by phone. No complaints at this time.
May 6:
Report of trespassing received at 12:23 a.m. in the 700 block of Rio Grande Avenue in Shawcrest, report of a male subject fishing on private property, subject was gone upon officers arrival, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 8:45 a.m. in the 600 block of Route 9, Erma; officer was advised that there were three subjects that got into an altercation; complaints were signed and three subjects were arrested and released with a court date.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:47 a.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; reporting party states there is a intoxicated male in their lobby, upon officers arrival the male was not intoxicated but under heavy medication and he was taken home, no complaints signed.
Report of a fraud received at 12:03 p.m. in the 200 block of Debra Street in North Cape May, reporting party states that someone charged $9,000.00 on his credit card, charges were filed and the actor was arrested, the actor was processed and released with a court date.
Report of theft received at 12:11 p.m. in the 600 block of Seashore Road, Erma, victim says that someone stole a new fire pit overnight, investigation continues.
Report of criminal mischief received at 1:35 p.m. in the first block of East Florida Avenue, Villas, the victim reports someone put graffiti on his home, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 4:23 p.m. in the 200 block of Vermont Avenue, Villas; upon officer’s arrival there were two subjects that got into a verbal argument, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 4:24 p.m. in the 700 block of Bayshore Road, Villas; upon officer’s arrival there were two family members that got into a verbal argument, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 5:46 p.m. in the 1200 block of Emerson Avenue in North Cape May; police respond to a 911 hang up and the Victim states he was slapped in the face by his wife, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of criminal mischief received at 7:53 p.m. in the first block of Old Mill Drive in North Cape May, the victim reports someone scratched his rear window on his vehicle, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 8:35 p.m. in the 100 block of East Wilde Avenue, Villas; upon officer’s arrival there were two family members that got into a verbal argument, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Orchard Drive in North Cape May; upon officer’s arrival there were two family members that got into a verbal argument, problem resolved for now, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 11:01 p.m. in the area of Higbee’s Beach, Cold Spring; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant; subject was processed and released on bail.
May 7:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 6:41 a.m. in the area of Bayshore Road and Fire Lane in North Cape May; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two subjects, upon police arrival the subjects were gone, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 12:19 p.m. in the 300 block of East Rochester Avenue in Diamond Beach; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by his neighbor, the victim was advised of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 12:41 p.m. in the 700 block of Route 109, Cold Spring; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of West Hampton Township; subject was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Domestic violence complaint received at 12:48 p.m. in the 300 block of Beechwood Avenue, Villas; reporting party states that two family members are fighting, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given, no complaints or a request for a TRO at this time.
Report of trespassing received at 1:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bayshore Road, Villas, report of a subject who is no longer welcome on their property, the police advised the subject to leave and if they return they will be charged with trespassing, no complaints at this time.
Report of theft received at 1:25 p.m. in the 3800 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May, reporting party states they have a shoplifter that just left the store, charges filed for shoplifting; the subject was arrested, processed and released on a summons with a court date.
Report of theft received at 1:40 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May, reporting party states they just had a vehicle receive $63.00 in fuel and left without paying, police located the vehicle and it was just a misunderstanding and it was taken care of. No complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 5:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bayshore Road, Villas; police were advised that the reporting party was forced to pull over in her vehicle by another vehicle as they claim a rock was thrown up by her tire breaking their windshield, subjects are going to work out the problem between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 8:57 p.m. in the 500 block of Seashore Road, Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for several warrants, one from Hamilton Township, and Somers Point, two from Galloway Township, and three from Atlantic City; subject was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
May 8:
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:50 a.m. in the 1000 block of Ocean Drive in Diamond Beach; officers were advised that there was a fight between two subjects; upon police arrival the subjects were working the matter out between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Report of a local ordinance violation received at 4:00 p.m. in the 300 block of Route 9, Erma; reporting party states the neighbor is burning leaves, responding officer spoke to the actor and it was found out to be wood burning in a chimney, no complaints at this time.
Report of harassment received at 6:06 p.m. in the 500 block of New England Road, Cold Spring; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by his neighbor, the victim was advised of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a Narcotics arrest at 7:25 p.m. in the area of Route 109 Bridge, Cold Spring, subsequent to a motor vehicle stop subject was charged with possession of heroin, cocaine, and marijuana, subject was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 8:10 p.m. in the 200 block of West Delaware Parkway, Villas; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two subjects; upon police arrival the subjects were working the matter out between themselves and went on there way, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:09 p.m. in the 100 block of Sunset Drive, Erma; officers were advised that there was a disagreement between two family members; upon police arrival the subjects were working the matter out between themselves and one of the subjects left for the night, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 11:08 p.m. in the 100 block of West Miami Avenue, Villas; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two subjects; upon police arrival one of the subjects left the area, the subject was located and a family member picked the subject up and the subject was advised not to return to the residence again, no complaints at this time.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 11:57 p.m. in the first block of Maple Road, Villas; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two family members over personal property; upon police arrival the subjects were working the matter out between themselves and the property was returned, no complaints at this time.
May 9:
Report of an assault received at 12:38 a.m. in the 600 block of Town Bank Road in North Cape May, report of 4 to 5 subjects fighting with one subject on the ground being kicked, upon the police arrival the subjects were gone, no complaints at this time.
Domestic violence complaint received at 1:24 a.m. in the 3300 block of Bayshore Road in North Cape May; victim reports a violation of a Final Restraining Order, charges were filed and the actor was arrested, the actor was processed and released R.O.R. with a court date.
Report of a theft received at 12:30 p.m. in the 300 block of Cloverdale Avenue, Villas, reporting party states someone stole his brother’s truck along with several other items, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 3:03 p.m. in the first block of Rose Lane, Villas; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two family members; upon police arrival the subjects were working the matter out between themselves, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 4:37 p.m. in the first block of East Miami Avenue, Villas; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant; subject was processed and released on bail.
Report of harassment received at 5:41 p.m. in the 400 block of Bryant Avenue in North Cape May; upon officer’s arrival they were advised the reporting party is being harassed by phone and at work, the victim was advised of his options, no complaints at this time.
Report of a warrant arrest at 7:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Fishing Creek Road in Fishing Creek; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Egg Harbor Township; subject was processed and taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
Report of a warrant arrest at 9:04 p.m. in the 400 block of Breakwater Road, Erma; Subject was placed under arrest for a warrant out of Wildwood City; subject was processed and released on bail.
May 10:
Report of a CDS Paraphernalia arrest at 1:47 a.m. in the 700 block of Route 109, Cold Spring, during a motor vehicle stop a subject was in possession of a pipe used for smoking marijuana, the subject was arrested and charged with possession of CDS Paraphernalia, the subject was processed and released to a family member with a court date.
Report of criminal mischief received at 7:39 a.m. in the 500 block of Fern Road in Cape May Beach, the victim reports someone damaged their yard lights, investigation continues.
Report of disorderly conduct received at 9:56 a.m. in the 2700 block of Bayshore Road, Villas; officers were advised that there was a dispute between two family members; upon police arrival the subjects were able to work out their problem with the officers help, no complaints at this time.
Report of theft received at 12:25 p.m. in the 400 block of Rose Hill Parkway in North Cape May, reporting party states someone stole a light from the side of their house sometime within the last three weeks, investigation continues.
Report of theft received at 3:15 p.m. in the 100 block of Kentucky Avenue, Villas, reporting party states someone stole their lawn furniture consisting of five black steel chairs and a four foot round table, investigation continues.
Domestic violence complaint received at 3:29 p.m. in the 100 block of Village Road, Villas; reporting party states that two family members are having a verbal dispute, Domestic Violence Act Rights were given and judge DeWeese granted a TRO, no criminal complaints at this time.
Report of a burglary received at 5:28 p.m. in the 200 block of Cloverdale Avenue, Villas; subjects made forced entry to a residence by breaking a window, investigation continues.
Report of an aggravated assault received at 8:07 p.m. in the first block of Ohio Avenue, Villas, police responded to a report of four subjects fighting in the street and one subject has a shovel, charges filed for aggravated assault as the actor hit the victim with the shovel, actor was arrested and processed then taken to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
