Lower Police Nab Two in Sea Pointe Village Heist

DIAMOND BEACH — Lower Township police responded to 9903 Sea Pointe Blvd. here after receiving a phone call from the Sea Pointe security stating they had interrupted a burglary.
According to a report, security guard Kenneth Alloway reported that he was investigating a noise when he discovered two subjects carrying a large flat panel television set and two bottles of liquor.
When Mr. Alloway confronted the subjects a struggle ensued with one subject fleeing the area and one subject being detained by AlIoway, police said.
The detained subject was identified as Christopher Stone, 19, Newmanstown, Pa., a white male who was staying locally at La Quinta Del Mar Condominiums on Raleigh Avenue.
Further investigation revealed the second subject who fled the area was a Kruiz Bonenfant, an 18-year-old, white male from Sinking Spring, Pa. He was also staying locally at La Quinta Del Mar.
It was discovered that the television and the liquor had been removed from 9903 Seapointe Blvd. Apartment 711 a unit that was under renovation at the time of the break-in, according to the report.
Both subjects were arrested burglary and theft. Stone was processed and released on his own recognizance. Bonenfant was also charged with robbery and taken to county jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
Investigation was conducted by Lower Township Police Patrolman Dallas Bohn and Detective Chris Lambert with assistance from Wildwood Crest Police Officer Luke Donahue.
