Lower Police Make Three Drug Arrests

VILLAS — Lower Township police on April 20 at approximately 10 p.m. while conducting a drug interdiction operation arrested three subjects who were in the process of delivering cocaine.
Anthony Williams, 29, of the 3300 block of Ventnor Avenue, Atlantic City; David Byrd, 48, of the 200 block of Pulley Avenue, Manahawkin; and Briana Livingston, 20, of the 700 block of Ohio Avenue, Atlantic City were under surveillance as they traveled down Fullingmill road to deliver a large amount of cocaine to a location in the Villas section of Lower Township.
Police stopped the vehicle and a search yielded numerous drugs including a bag containing over a half ounce of suspected cocaine.
Williams and Byrd were charged with cocaine possession and possession with the intent to distribute. Judge David DeWeese set bail for them at $50,000 cash. Livingston was charged with possession of ecstasy and cocaine with bail set at 10 percent of $15,000.
All three were transferred to county jail in lieu of bail.
Detective Sergeant Thomas Keywood and Detective Chris Lambert initiated the investigation with the assistance from Patrolpersons Jennifer Anzelone, Michael Perry and Donald Vanaman.
