Lower Police Arrest Villas Woman on Drug Charges

NORTH CAPE MAY — Lower Township police arrested a Villas woman for dealing drugs on April 16 at approximately 1 p.m.
While conducting a drug interdiction operation in North Cape May, police said they arrested Kolette Keenan, 28, of the 100 block of Franklin Avenue, while she was in the process of distributing cocaine and prescription narcotics.
She was under surveillance while pulling into a commercial mall area in the 3000 block of Bayshore Road. Shortly thereafter Detective Chris Lambert approached her exiting a grocery store. A search of her vehicle proved negative, but a subsequent search of the grocery store yielded one large bag of cocaine and four smaller bags that had been discarded in the store by Keenan upon police arrival. Police also found narcotic pills were in found in Keenan’s purse.
Keenan was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, possession of prescription narcotics, possession of prescription narcotics with the intent to distribute. She was taken remanded to county jail in lieu of $25,000 bail set by Judge David DeWeese.
