Kline Sentenced to 19 Years in Prison for ’17 Slaying

COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief of Detectives Paul Skill in a March 28 release announced the sentencing of Paul Kline to 19 years in New Jersey State Prison.
On July 22, 2017, Kline, 49, of Ocean City, was charged with the death of Denise Weber, also of Ocean City.   
On Feb. 1, 2019, Kline pled guilty to aggravated manslaughter.  
On March 27, Kline was sentenced to 19 years in state prison under the Early Release Act and five years of specialized parole by the Superior Court Judge Sarah Beth Johnson.
Sutherland commended the Ocean City Police Department and all of the law enforcement agencies which investigated this crime along with Chief Assistant Prosecutor Saverio Carroccia who prosecuted this case resulting in the prison sentence.
Sutherland stated, “Our office and all of the county’s law enforcement agencies will continue to keep our community safe and make sure that all victims of crimes receive the appropriate justice.”
