Jury Selection Continues in Wildwood Officer Misconduct Trial

COURT HOUSE — With the local snowstorms in the past, jury selection continued Tuesday, Feb. 16 in the official misconduct trial of Wildwood Police Sgt. David Romeo, 39, who is accused of using excessive force on two handcuffed car-burglary suspects on July 24, 2007.
According to the Press of Atlantic City, Louis McCullough, of Cape May, and Gilbert Haege, of Wildwood Crest, both 27 at the time of the incident, were arrested near the Boardwalk at 26th Street. Romeo is accused of kicking both men.
