COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 25 indictments Oct. 9. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.
The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.
Christopher W. Hutson
Christopher Hutson, 29, was indicted for second-degree aggravated assault following a Wildwood incident that the indictment says involved domestic violence. The presence of a 4-year-old in the home also led to an additional second-degree count for endangering the welfare of a child.
The indictment contains four additional third-degree counts for aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and making terroristic threats. A final count is for fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. The weapon was a piece of metal pipe.
Nancy McFadden
A Philadelphia resident, Nancy McFadden, 50, was indicted on two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The children, ages 3 and 10, were in the vehicle when McFadden was arrested for driving under the influence Sept. 2 in Middle Township.
Anthony Johnson
Anthony Johnson was indicted for second- and third-degree aggravated assault related to an August incident in Wildwood where two male victims were assaulted. The indictment also contained a fourth-degree count for obstructing the administration of law.
Barry Q. Jackson
Barry Jackson, 50, of Atlantic City, was indicted for third-degree aggravated assault in Middle Township in late August.
Maritza Jenkins
Maritza Jenkins, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
Victor A. Novoa and Cristal M. Maldonado
Victor Novoa, 33, and Cristal Maldonado face an eight-count indictment for burglary, theft and receiving stolen goods. The charges stem from a break-in at Morey’s Piers in North Wildwood July 3.
Ronald W. Jackson
A domestic violence incident in Wildwood Crest in September has resulted in an indictment for Ronald Jackson for third-degree aggravated assault.
Jasson R. Baker
Jasson Baker, 30, of North Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
William J. Colbourne
William Colbourne, 40, of Court House, was indicted on one count of third-degree theft by deception.
Valerie A. Davis
Valerie Davis, 35, of Villas, was indicted for throwing bodily fluids at a sheriff’s officer. The count is in the fourth degree.
Kellyann K. Grey and James E. Stagg
On Aug. 29, a bicycle rental shop on Beach Avenue in Cape May had a break-in and theft of property valued at more than $200. Kellyann Grey and James Stagg were indicted this week for burglary and conspiracy, both third degree, and theft in the fourth degree.
Earl F. Cole
Earl Cole, of Wildwood, was indicted on one count of third-degree possession of a CDS, heroin.
Gary J. Grimes
The grand jury dealt with yet another accusation of domestic violence when it indicted Gary Grimes, of Upper Township, for second- and third-degree aggravated assault.
Casey Curtis
Casey Curtis, of Upper Township, was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, amphetamine.
Brandon C. McLaughlin and Harjinder S. Singh
Brandon McLaughlin, 30, of Green Creek, was indicted for theft of a firearm, third degree, along with possession of a firearm for unlawful purposes, second degree. Harjinder Singh, 18, of Rio Grande, faces a count for third-degree possession of a CDS, amphetamine.
Thomas K. McNemar
Thomas McNemar was indicted for second-degree endangering the welfare of a child. The 2-year-old was involved when McNemar was arrested for driving under the influence.
Brian P. McGahn
Brian McGahn was indicted for possession of a CDS, crack cocaine, third degree. The incident occurred in Ocean City Sep. 2.
William Middleton
William Middleton, of Upper Township, faces a third-degree count for failure to re-register a change of address. Middleton was convicted in 1993 in Camden County of endangering the welfare of a child which required him to participate in lifetime community monitoring.
Jason S. Wagner
Jason Wagner was indicted on two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child related to a DWI arrest in Lower Township.
Dustin Washington
Dustin Washington, 32, of Atlantic City, faces an indictment for first-degree robbery for using the threat of force with a deadly weapon against the victim. The indictment also contains a third-degree count for terroristic threats and fourth-degree obstructing the administration of law.
Edward O’Hara
Edward O’Hara, 55, of Philadelphia, was indicted for second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, a Ruger .38 handgun.
Devon F. Onorato
Devon Onorato, of Rio Grande, faces four separate counts of throwing bodily fluids, each in the fourth degree. The indictment claims that Onorato threw fluids at three officers and a licensed practical nurse, all members of the sheriff’s office.
Elpida Siolou
Elpida Siolou, 36, of Wildwood, was indicted for fourth-degree shoplifting from a national retail chain store in Court House.
Joshua Rhuberg
Joshua Rhuberg faces a fourth-degree count for criminal mischief.
James M. Potts and Gina M. Delonis
James Potts and Gina Delonis face an eight-count indictment. Possession of a defaced sawed-off shotgun and metal knuckles produced counts for third and fourth-degree prohibited weapon charges, along with third-degree unlawful possession of a weapon.
Theft of a Yamaha Jet Ski Blaster 2 led to counts for theft, burglary and conspiracy, each in the third degree. The thefts occurred on Mt. Pleasant Road in Upper Township in August.
