Indictments Filed Nov. 29

COURT HOUSE – The indictments filed Nov. 29 represent two weeks of activity by a Cape May County grand jury. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, both weeks of indictments were filed as of Nov. 29. The indictments below represent the grand jury’s activity for Nov. 29. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  
Joseph Small
Joseph Small, of Woodbine, was indicted for two counts of terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, each third degree. He also faces two additional fourth-degree counts for being a certain person who should not have a weapon and unlawful possession of a weapon.
Small allegedly threatened to kill two individuals while armed with a hatchet. Before this arrest and indictment, Small was convicted of a 1977 robbery in Essex County, a 1985 burglary and possession of a CDS in 1992; both of the latter convictions were in Cape May County.
James Matthews, Raymond Middleton, Tamara Matthews, John Matthews
James Matthews, 24, Raymond Middleton, 26, Tamara Matthews, 47, and John Matthews, 55, were all indicted for possession of a CDS, two counts each, and possession with intent to distribute, each count in the third degree.
They also face second-degree counts of possession of a weapon while committing a CDS crime and endangering the welfare of a child. A 2-year-old was found to be placed in a situation that met the terms for a neglected or abused child.
The drugs involved were marijuana, diazepam, and oxycodone. The firearms found at the scene included two shotguns and an assault rifle.
Darian Lehner
Darian Lehner, 18, of Goshen, was indicted for burglary and theft, each third degree. Lehner allegedly took property valued at greater than $500 from a consignment shop he illegally entered.
Jacob Montes
Jacob Montes allegedly attempted to commit aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Cape May June 27. He was indicted for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and aggravated assault, each third degree.  The weapon was a knife.
The indictment also contained the additional fourth-degree count of unlawful possession of a weapon.
Khamal Macon
Khamal Macon was on temporary leave from incarceration when he allegedly failed to return when scheduled. He was indicted for third-degree escape.
Macey Seddon
Macey Seddon, 21, of Court House, was indicted for credit card theft and fraudulent use of a credit card, third degree. Seddon allegedly took a relative’s credit card and used it at a Rio Grande restaurant, convenience store, and sandwich shop.
Tyler Schettig
Tyler Schettig, 18, of Ocean View, was stopped for driving while intoxicated in June and was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin.  He was indicted for possession of a CDS, third degree.
Robert Ramos, Brian Walton, Dominic Catarcio
In separate indictments, Robert Ramos, 29, of Newtonville, Brian Walton, 27, of Del Haven and Dominic Catarcio, 48, of Court House, were each indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, in all cases heroin. 
Andrew Williamson
Andrew Williamson, 57, of Villas, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in August in Lower Township. Williamson allegedly rear-ended another car causing injury to two occupants. He was indicted on two counts of fourth-degree aggravated assault by auto.
Michael Walker
Michael Walker was arrested in Rio Grande in September after allegedly using force to commit a theft, fleeing the scene and resisting arrest and spitting at officers when apprehended. He was indicted for robbery, second degree, and fourth-degree resisting arrest and throwing bodily fluids.
Tracy Day, Harry Hoover
Tracey Day, 39, of Erma, and Harry Hoover, 36, of Wildwood were indicted on two counts of possession of a CDS, buprenorphine, and amphetamine. The incident grew out of a traffic stop which revealed outstanding warrants.
Caitlyn Young, David Dickinson
Caitlyn Young, 26, of Green Creek, was indicted for distribution of a CDS, heroin, third degree.  The incident occurred March 2.  The same day and again on March 17, David Dickinson was also allegedly distributing heroin.  He faces two counts of distribution, third degree.
Stephen Alexander, Jr.
Stephen Alexander, Jr., of Woodbine, was indicted for fourth-degree obstruction of the administration of law. Alexander allegedly obstructed an ongoing police investigation.
Don Guthrie, John Caterini
Don Guthrie, 33, of Rio Grande, and John Caterini allegedly conspired to possess a CDS, heroin and then obtained the drug. They were indicted for possession of a CDS and conspiracy, each third degree.
Alfonzo Alonzo, Cecilia Grillo
Alfonzo Alonzo, 22, of Wildwood was indicted for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, fourth degree. Cecilia Grillo, 23, of Rio Grande was indicted for second-degree endangering the welfare of a child due to the presence of a 2-year-old in circumstances associated with drug distribution.
