Indictments Filed Nov. 19

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 25 indictments Nov. 19. 
The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance. 
A “certain person not to have weapons” charge can be made against an individual found in possession of a weapon, even though a previous felony conviction banned weapons possession.    
All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Phillip J. Sager
Phillip Sager, 68, of North Wildwood, was indicted on six counts related to sexual offenses against two minors, 11 and 7 years old. He faces second-degree counts for endangering the welfare of each victim, along with second-degree counts of sexual assault against each victim. Two fourth-degree counts for lewdness were also included.
Sidney Gary
Sidney Gary, 35, of Court House, was indicted on a fourth-degree count for violation of community supervision. Gary was convicted in 2004 for endangering the welfare of a child. He was required to comply with the terms of supervision for life.
Christopher Fontannaz 
Christopher Fontannaz, 31, of Villas, faces a fourth-degree count for making a false report to a law enforcement officer.
Clive Carelse 
Clive Carelse was indicted for third-degree stalking of a Middle Township resident, along with fourth-degree contempt of a court order.
William Lyman
William Lyman, 36, of North Cape May, faces seven counts including first-degree attempted murder, two second-degree weapons charges for possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and unlawful possession of a weapon, second-degree counts for terroristic threats and aggravated assault, and a third-degree count for aggravated assault. 
The indictment also contains two fourth-degree counts for possession of a prohibited weapon and aggravated assault. The weapon in question was a handgun, and the prohibited weapon was a large-capacity magazine.
Devon Moss
Devon Moss was indicted for escape, third degree. The indictment states that Moss “removed himself from official detention.” 
Julie McElfresh
Julie McElfresh, 19, of Woodbine, faces a fourth-degree theft charge for removing merchandise valued at over $200 from a Court House store.
Joseph Mastraduono, Jr. 
Joseph Mastraduono, Jr., 40, of Villas, is charged with third-degree resisting arrest and two counts of third-degree aggravated assault on a police officer. He also faces a second-degree count for disarming a police officer, along with a fourth-degree count for causing more than $500 worth of damage to Lower Township property.
Sharrik Molley, Rachel Litzinger, Michelle Johnson, Joseph Narciso, Bruce Pearson, James Johnson
The individuals listed face counts of third-degree possession of a CDS. All were indicted on one count except Narciso and Pearson, who face two counts.
Shahid Lovett
Shahid Lovett, 27, of Vineland, was indicted for third-degree escape.
Ramon Hernandez 
Ramon Hernandez, 41, of Scranton, Pa., was indicted for unlawful possession of a weapon, a folding knife, fourth degree.
Abraham Burgos 
Abraham Burgos, 59, of Atlantic City, faces three fourth-degree counts for possession of a prohibited weapon, a gravity knife, unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person.
Dawn M. Digiacomo 
Dawn Digiacomo, 51, of Wildwood, was indicted for third-degree assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, along with fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. The major charge is second-degree aggravated assault. The weapon used in the assault was a pair of scissors.
Michele A. Ogden 
Michele Ogden, 39, of Villas, faces a fourth-degree count of assault by auto.
Carl Peterson
Carl Peterson, 54, of Court House, was indicted for fourth-degree cyber harassment. 
Alyssa M. Patten
Alyssa Patten, 18, of Court House, was indicted for second-degree employment of a juvenile in the commission of a crime. The indictment states that her accomplices were 17 years old or less, leaving Patten the one to face adult charges. 
The indictment contains three other counts: two third-degree counts for conspiracy and burglary, along with one fourth-degree count for criminal mischief.
Roberto L. Rentas 
Roberto Rentas, 39, of Wildwood, faces a second-degree count for burglary of a residence on W. Magnolia Avenue in Wildwood. The resident suffered injuries, raising the count to second degree.
Ronald Scott
Ronald Scott was indicted for third-degree burglary and theft related to the unlawful breaking in of a structure on Seashore Road in Lower Township.
Patrick W. Zolk
Patrick Zolk, 42, of Philadelphia, was indicted for second-degree aggravated assault and third-degree endangering an injured victim. The incident occurred in North Wildwood in late June.
Robert A. Tigro
Robert Tigro, 36, of Sea Isle City, faces a fourth-degree charge for cyber harassment.
Randy Sowell 
Randy Sowell, 33, of South Ozone Park, N.Y., was indicted for third-degree exhibiting a simulated document. Police arrest reports say Sowell was a fugitive from justice, when he exhibited the fake document in North Wildwood.
