Indictments Filed Aug. 21

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 14 indictments Aug. 21. The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  

The following actions are alleged by law enforcement agents. Persons named are innocent until proven otherwise in court.

Vincent Tyler, Nicole Bottone

Vincent Tyler and Nicole Bottone, both of Wildwood, were indicted for possession of a CDS, heroin, and possession with intent to distribute, each third degree.

Proximity to a school and public property led to additional counts for possession with intent within 1,000 feet of a school, third degree, and possession with intent within 500 feet of a public park, second degree.

Joseph D. Cummiskey, Kayleigh Stark

Joseph Cummiskey and Kayleigh Stark, both of Upper Township, were each indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, cocaine.

Mark D. Coleman

Mark Coleman, 46, of Leesburg, was indicted for possession of a legend drug, fourth degree. The presence of a young boy in the car with him led to an additional count of fourth-degree cruelty and neglect of children.

Kevin Deschler, Dawn Crease, Laura Adams, Michael Digneo, Jeffrey Marshall, Ryan Taglianetti

The individuals listed were each separately indicted on one count of third-degree possession of a CDS.

Islam Ally

Islam Ally, of Wildwood, was indicted on a count of second-degree endangerment of the welfare of a child, a 5-year-old.

John Deangelis

The spread of a video on social media led to the arrest and indictment of John Deangelis, 56, of Villas, on a count of second degree enticing a child.

Justin McCausland

A North Wildwood resident, Justin McCausland, 23, was indicted for forgery, uttering a false instrument and burglary, each count was in the third degree.

The indictment charges that McCausland committed a burglary in North Wildwood and subsequently forged a check belonging to the home’s resident and made payable to himself for $75.

Maura McCaffrey

Maura McCaffrey was indicted on three counts of fourth-degree assault.  Her victims were all North Wildwood police officers.

Decarlo Fleming

Decarlo Fleming, 49, of Villas, was indicted on two counts of possession of a CDS, both heroin and methamphetamine, along with two additional counts of possession with intent to distribute.  All counts were in the third degree.
