ERMA — On Aug, 18, at approximately 12:40 am, Lower Township police received a 9-1-1 call from a family in the 100 Block of Iowa Avenue in Villas.
The family reported that three male subjects, one, armed with a large knife, forced their way into the residence by breaking down the front door then threatened their 18 year old son while demanding money from him.
When the father of the residence came out of his bedroom and confronted the subjects, the subjects then fled the area on foot without taking anything from the residence and no injuries were reported.
The suspects are described as three Black males in their late teens or earlier 20’s, wearing masks of some type, possibly bandanas or hoodies with one subject in possession of a large knife.
