DEL HAVEN — On Jan. 2 at 7:31 p.m., Middle Township police received a call of a motor vehicle crash on Eldredge Avenue. Another call came in shortly after that an argument was ensuing. When officers arrived, everyone was calmed down.
The investigation revealed that Wesley Wobles, 30, of Del Haven, was traveling west on Eldredge Avenue when he struck the rear of a parked vehicle owned by Thomas Miller, of Philadelphia.
During the investigation, it was determined that Wobles was intoxicated and he was subsequently arrested for drunk driving.
He was charged with DWI, refusal of breath test, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released to a friend several hours later.
