ERMA — Lower Township police investigated an early morning spree of thefts from unlocked motor vehicles in Villas July 17.
Multiple vehicles were entered throughout the area and various items removed from the interiors of the vehicles including a hand held GPS unit, iPod, wallet, currency, change, and various credit and bank cards.
A resident notified police of suspicious activity which he observed and a follow-up investigation by patrol personnel led to two subjects being found in possession of numerous items of stolen property.
The subjects located were an adult and juvenile. The adult is identified as Freddy Jimenez, 19, of the 300 block of West Roberts Avenue in the City of Wildwood. Both the adult and juvenile were arrested for burglary, a third degree crime.

was transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center in lieu of bail.
