Crook’s Rock Nets Thug $50

MAYVILLE – Middle Township Police Department responded to a burglary and theft report at The Ice Cream Station located at 809 Route 9 South in the Mayville section of the township. The investigation revealed an unknown subject gained entry to the business through the service window after breaking it with a rock. Once inside, the subject stole approximately $50 in change. The time of the burglary occurred sometime between 10:10 p.m. May 21 and 10:30 a.m. May 22. Patrolman Shawn Karge and Detective Jack Trombetta investigated.
