WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest police officers were dispatched March 23 at 12:25 p.m. to a Fern Avenue address for a report of a landlord-tenant complaint.
According to a release, during the course of the investigation, officers learned that the vehicle, used by Cristel Hibbs, 44, of Wildwood Crest, was reported stolen from Hertz Rental Car in Philadelphia. Hibbs was subsequently arrested.
Hibbs was charged with receiving stolen property and was released on a summons with a pending court date.
The Philadelphia Police Department was advised of the vehicle recovery and Hibbs’ arrest to assist with their ongoing investigation.
