COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Prosecutor’s office announced the arrest of a 74-year-old Court House man, Henry Schenawolf, on charges of child pornography.
“Several computers” were seized and thousands of “child abuse sex materials” were found after his house on Secluded Hollow Road was searched, according to a press release from the prosecutor’s office.
The arrest comes after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a non-profit organization, connected the dots and worked with state and federal agencies to execute the search of Schenawolf’s Court House residence.
The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), and the Middle
Township Police Department all worked together to execute the search.
Schenawolf is currently being held at the Cape May County Correctional Facility and faces “Possession of Child Pornography,” a second degree charge, and “Distribution of Child Pornography,” also of the second degree.
Court proceedings will follow.
