EDGEWOOD – Middle Township Police Department’s Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant in the 100 East block Main Street in Edgewood May 25 with the assistance of the Cape May County Swat Team and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office – Narcotics Task Force (NTF).
As a result, James “Shakey” Powell, 38, and Dana Robinson-Powell, 35, both of that address, were arrested. Over a half ounce of crack cocaine and a small amount of marijuana were recovered from the residence.
Both Powell and Robinson-Powell were charged with possession of cocaine, third degree, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, second degree, and possession of marijuana, a disorderly persons offense.
Powell was lodged in the Cape May County Correctional Center and Robinson-Powell was released on a summons.
