Cops Nab Suspect in Jewelry, Credit Card Heist

This report is based on information received from law enforcement.
WILDWOOD CREST – Wildwood Crest Police were called to a motel for a report of theft July 28.
Class II Officer Crystin Edwards investigated and learned that a guest from the motel discovered jewelry and personal credit cards missing from their room.
Detective Jonathan Greene developed a suspect in the theft, Kimberly Mcallister, 35, of Wildwood Crest.
Investigation led to the alleged use of the stolen credit cards at a nearby convenience store and Mcallister as the main suspect.
Subsequently, Mcallister was arrested Aug. 2 and charged with two counts of theft and one count of credit card theft.
The jewelry was located and returned to the rightful owner.
Mcallister was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Center awaiting a hearing. 
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
