Burglary, Theft at Sportsmen’s Club

ERMA — Lower Township police are investigating a report of burglary and theft that occurred at the Sunset Beach Sportsmen’s Club in the area of the Concrete Ship’s parking lot.
The incident occurred sometime after 11 p.m. late Monday evening or early Tuesday morning, Aug. 18. Investigation on scene determined that unknown persons kicked in the back door of the club and removed approximately $125 from the cash register. The incident is under investigation by Patrol Officer Eric Coombs and the Lower Township Detective Division.
