Burglary Investigation Leads to a Recovered Weapon and Two Arrests

VILLAS – Lower Township Police Detectives arrested two suspects March 30 after responding to the 100 block of Shadeland Avenue for the report of a residential burglary where a loaded firearm and jewelry was stolen.
During this investigation, the Lower Township detectives developed information on a possible suspect who was located during a motor vehicle stop.
The detective bureau was able to locate the firearm in the garage of a residence on the 100 block of East Jacksonville Avenue that was also burglarized. They located the stolen jewelry which was recovered from a pawn shop.
Shaquille Lebron, 21, from Villas was arrested for burglary, theft of a handgun, conspiracy to commit theft, possession of a high capacity magazine, possession of a handgun, and certain persons not to possess a firearm. Judge Thomas Hillegass was contacted and set bail at $50,000.
Robert Schiavo, 21, from Villas was also arrested for burglary, theft of a handgun, conspiracy to commit theft, possession of a high capacity magazine, and possession of a handgun. Judge Thomas Hillegass was contacted and set bail at $30,000.
Both suspects were transported to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendants are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
