DENNISVILLE – Ronald Rivers was arrested April 14 with 15 charges against him. State Police responded to a call from a female victim who claimed Rivers had pointed a handgun at her. The victim had left the premises when police arrived to find Rivers armed with a loaded revolver.
State Police also found numerous narcotics including cocaine, 10 grams of crack cocaine, heroin, oxycontin and over $2,400 in cash. Rivers was charged with distribution and possession charges for each drug he had on him, as well as weapons charges. His bail was set at $100,000. He was remanded to Cape May County Correctional Center.
The charges and allegations contained in the complaint are merely accusations and the defendant is considered innocent unless and until proven guilty.
