OCEAN CITY — Ocean City Police Department received a report on Nov. 4, of a burglary and theft that occurred in the 700 block of Moorlyn Terrace about 8:21 p.m.
The victim reported that he had been away from his residence for about 24 hours. Upon returning home, the victim discovered that his room had been entered and several items were missing. The victim was able to provide information of possible suspects.
The landlord also provided information about persons he had observed at the location while the victim was away.
The investigation led to the arrest of Nicholas R. Shaw, 19, of Absecon, Jennifer L. Wills, 22, of Ocean City, and Barry K. Somers, 22, of Galloway Township.
Shaw was arrested on a warrant issued by Judge Richard Russell in the amount of $15,000 full cash bail. He was charged with burglary, theft, hindering apprehension and conspiracy.
Wills was charged with burglary force, theft and conspiracy.
Somers was charged with burglary and theft.
Wills and Somers were released on a summons.
The case remains an ongoing investigation with the police department attempting to locate one additional suspect for questioning in the investigation. Investigating the incident is Detective Mark Pancoast.
