Arrest Petersburg Man for Drug Possession

OCEAN CITY — An 18-year-old Petersburg man was arrested Aug. 12 and charged with possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to Ocean City police, on Aug. 12 at 3:59 a.m., in the 800 block of West Avenue, as Patrolman Robert Koob was on routine patrol, he observed a vehicle with equipment problems traveling in the 800 block of West Avenue.
A motor vehicle stop was conducted on that vehicle.
As the officer approached the vehicle, he observed a glass smoking pipe and prescription bottle with suspected marijuana on the rear seat.
As a result, Ryan Kievit, w18 of Petersburg, was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance, marijuana and possession of dru paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
