Arrest Made in Vehicle Ramming Incident

By Press Release

RIO GRANDE- On Sat, Nov. 12 about midnight, Middle Township police responded to a 911 report of a vehicle being followed and rammed by another vehicle.
The vehicles ended up at the Rio Grande Wawa when officers arrived and investigated,.
Further investigation revealed the incident originally started at the Wawa when Anthony Jordan, 29, of Villas approached a Dodge Durango occupied by Keith McKinney Jr., 35, of Rio Grande where the two exchanged words.
Jordan then returned to a Mitsubishi Gallant driven by Nadine DeOliveira, 37 of Erma and occupied by Rita Beason, 26, of Villas. DeOliveira then left the Wawa parking lot and McKinney chased them in the Durango. McKinney chased the other three on numerous roads through Lower and Middle Township and in the area of Railroad Avenue and Satt Boulevard in Rio Grande.
McKinney rammed the other vehicle with his vehicle numerous times. The vehicles went back to the Wawa. McKinney initially claimed he was robbed by Jordan, however it appears to have been a drug deal gone bad.
No one received any injuries during the incident. McKinney was placed under arrest and charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 charge of Criminal Mischief. He was later released. Patrolman Ronald Miller investigated.
