New rides and the same great games, food and fun can be found at Our Lady Star of the Sea Regional School’s fourth annual Carnival by the Sea.
The event begins at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, Aug. 19 and continues at the same time on Wednesday, Aug. 20 in the Our Lady Star of the Sea parking lot at Ocean and Lafayette streets.
The carnival will take place rain or shine and free parking is available in the lot at Cape May City Elementary School.
“The blow-up rides at the past carnivals certainly provided a lot of fun, but this year we decided to step it up a notch and hire a carnival company to bring in mechanical rides,” said Frank Zilinek, carnival chairperson. “Our carnival gets such a great response from both vacationers and locals, we are excited have the opportunity to bring this community building event to the next level.”
The Star of the Sea kitchen will be open serving delicious and reasonably priced food. Kid’s favorite DJ Officer Tony will be providing musical entertainment. Families are encouraged to come for dinner, enjoy rides, games, dancing, face painting and more.
