Borough of Stone Harbor Hydrant Flushing Begins Nov. 1

STONE HARBOR – The Borough of Stone Harbor Department of Public Works would like to advise residents of mandatory hydrant flushing which begins Nov. 1.
Residents may experience yellow, discolored water while the process is completed. At the end of the day it is suggested that all residents experiencing discolored water open all faucets and let run for a few minutes until clear.
The Borough is required by the State of NJ to complete a routine hydrant flushing two times a year.
